Kevin Morgan x Rocks x Balance

The art of balancing rocks has been an art form for centuries... kidding. I have no idea how long but I have seen plenty lately and I owe it all to one man Kevin Morgan. The new LA weekly 2009 people issue has an article about Kevin a local Venice artiest (this really makes me happy being from venice and all). Kevin stacks rocks from noon to sunset, Tuesday through Friday, the man needs a couple of days off people. I am in awe of these stacked pieces of art, it might be the balance of it all, no real idea for sure but nonetheless they are fantastic. If you ever see a collection of stacked rocks and find the beauty make sure you thank Kevin.

Sunrise

So a friend has gone to China for work and I have decided to send them pictures of Sunrise and Sunset. Here is what day 1 (sunrise) had to offer ... There is something that makes me feel great about sunrises but I can't put my finger on it... Starting this almost feels like a 365 project which I have never done, maybe b/c taking pictures of myself is not that gratifying.

Listening to the new Camera Obscura album My Maudlin Career, folks this album is delectable one of my favorites so far in 09. Tracyanna Campbell's voice is so tender and sweet.  Her intimate lyrical twists makes this album feel like you are on a roller coster of emotions... not a bad way to spend a night or a day at the office.

Good Friends x Miami x Stache

Well I've been home for almost a week now and I miss Mom, as you can tell I'm a total mommas boy. I don't call myself that (shit I just did) its just what people classify those who love their Mom's like I do. A friend from college tied the knot in Miami last weekend, needless to say it was a stunner trip. Some of the guys I haven't seen in years and some I see everyday. As you can see from the picture the party was on a Boat or a Yacht a nice one at that. I would have had my party on a farm with the biggest BBQ pit known to man but thats just how I roll. My buddy Tom and I decided to dress in our normal garb which to some is a little eccentric. Tom dressed a little more on the classic side then I but it was spot on perfection for the boat. Tom looks like he's straight out of the new Nautica ads that feature Sean Connery. I on the other hand wore tuxedo pants that were most likely made for a short fat man, waist 34 length 24, the fit was exactly what I was looking for, being 6 foot made the pants fit like a glove well a glove with the finger tips cut off... The stache was in full and running amuck. Why does having a mustace cause people to turn up their nose. Till the next time...
